The use of the facilities and service offered by the contact centre are free of charge but on a referral basis. A referral can be made by a social worker, a solicitor or by the courts.

Use of the Child Contact Centre

Separation can cause hard feelings, but try to remember your child is hurting too. Children need to spend time with both parents so we ask you to make this a happy for them by putting their needs first, We ask all our parents to abide by a few simple guidelines which ensure the safe running of the centre:

  • Arrangements for bringing children to and from the Centre are the responsibility of the parents.

  • Parents must be on time at the beginning and end of each session to avoid upsetting the children.

  • While at the Centre, the children must be under the supervision and control of a parent or other agreed adult at all times to ensure their safety.

  • We expect you not to cause any disturbance that would upset your own child/ren or anyone else using the Centre.

When first visiting the centre, all parents will be asked to sign and agree to a set of rules which will help ensure your experience and that of your child’s is a safe and positive one.
